Created to power simple, efficient streaming over Wifi, 3G and 4G networks on Android devices 4.1 and newer, the live audio and video encoding application directly connects with Wowza Streaming Engine™ software enabling content providers to easily capture, manage and deliver content from anywhere, at any time.

According to recent research from International Data Corporation (IDC), nearly 94 percent of smartphones shipped worldwide in 2013 were running on Android or iOS operating systems and Android commanded the market share with more than 78 percent of smartphones using Android. Using Wowza GoCoder as part of an end-to-end system with Wowza Streaming Engine software, users can broadcast and encode live events from any location to any screen.
